Presentation Summary:

This presentation will introduce living systems (plants) as modalities to increase recovery rates, general well-being and an improved work environment. An overview of living wall systems, their function and mechanics will be discussed, as well as programs for integrating suggested therapeutic tools in care facilities.

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe how plants improve interior environments, and to the healing recovery process.
2. Define living wall systems, including installation requirements, operations, maintenance and costs.
3. Review successful existing studies and scientific analysis of programs currently in operation.
4. Examine creative programs, and implementation techniques.
