Healthcare practitioners and their patients currently face an overwhelming amount of medical information.
Physicians seeking expert recommendations find it difficult to read and apply the various hundred page
disease guidelines currently published. Hence only 50% of patients in North America receive the
recommended care as set out by these guidelines. Even if patients were to receive the best possible care from
their physicians, studies show that patients retain or comply with less than 20% of what their physician
