Presentation Summary:

This presentation will provide an overview of the Conjoint Health Research Ethics Board (CHREB). The requirements for submitting a “winning” ethics application will be discussed with time dedicated for questions from attendees.

Learning Objectives:

1. Provide background on the CHREB at the University of Calgary.

2. Clarify processes around certification, including tips for submitting a “winning” ethics application.

3. Clarify processes around certification, modifications, renewals and safety monitoring.
