Presentation Summary:

In this presentation, Ms. Freeman argues that W21C fits the definition of a “Boundary Organization” as presented in Parker and Crona’s 2012 article, “On being all things to all people: Boundary organizations and the contemporary research university.” Further, Ms. Freeman argues that understanding W21C as a boundary organization provides a concrete strategy for engaging diverse stakeholders in a sustainable and productive way.
