W21C Research and Innovation Centre is Open
The W21C Research and Innovation Centre officially opened its doors on Friday, November 20th, 2009 with representation from our partners, sponsors, supporters, and key stakeholders. Speakers including, Dr. John Conly, Dr. William Ghali, Dr. Barry Baylis, and key W21C funders shared their vision of the W21C Centre and what it represents to our diverse community.
W21C Team Members, industry partners and researchers were available to demonstrate some of the exciting research and innovative projects currently underway.
Industry partners including SMART Technologies, Calgary Scientific, Intelliview Technologies Inc., XSENSOR and Clarity Inc. were also available to contribute their valuable input and insights into the future of health care technologies.
Construction of the W21C Research and Innovation Centre was made possible through funding from ATCO Group. Governments of Canada and Alberta funding for the W21C Research and Innovation Centre is provided through the Western Economic Partnership Agreement (WEPA).
